Competition terms
The prize
One winner receives one pair of glasses worth up to £1,000 per prize year, for five years: five pairs in total, with a maximum combined value of £5,000. Each pair includes frames and prescription lenses. This allowance is for one pair, not multiple pairs.
The winner becomes eligible for the next pair exactly 12 months after receiving the previous pair. The prize is non-transferable. There is no cash alternative and unused value cannot be carried forward. The winner may pay the difference if they choose a pair costing more than £1,000.
An eye test is charged separately unless the winner qualifies for a free NHS sight test. The winner must attend Winstanley & Son in Liverpool for their eyewear.
Who can enter
Entry is free, with no purchase necessary. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over who can attend the Liverpool practice. Staff and their immediate families are excluded. One entry per person across all entry routes.
Closing date and draw
Entries close on 30 November 2026 at 23:59 GMT. The winner will be selected using a verifiable random process on Facebook Live on 1 December 2026 at 7pm GMT. We will contact the winner by email. The winner has 14 days to claim the prize.
You do not need to watch the live draw to win. Liking, sharing or tagging is optional and does not provide extra entries or improve your chance of winning.
Your information
We use your entry details to administer the competition and contact the winner. Receiving eyewear news and offers is a separate choice: either “Yes, please” or “No thanks” allows you to enter. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
We retain information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, including administering the competition, delivering the five-year prize, permitted marketing and legal obligations. We review retention regularly. See our privacy policy for more information.
