Single vision glasses from stock lenses can often be glazed in as little as 1 hour at our Park Road workshop in Dingle, subject to lens availability, and normally the same day. Varifocals usually within 48 hours. Because we glaze in-house, you are not waiting on a lab.

Once you have your new glasses, Glasses Club membership covers scratches, damage, loss or theft from £4.75 a month, so a knock or a scratch does not mean starting again from scratch.

Why we can do it the same day
Many practices send every pair away to a lab and wait for the van. We keep single vision stock lenses and a glazing workshop at 252 Park Road, so for a straightforward prescription the lenses are cut, edged and fitted here while you wait, or ready to collect later the same day.
If your prescription is more complex, or you choose a lens we do not keep in stock, we tell you before you commit and say exactly when it will be ready. Varifocals are made to order and are usually back within 48 hours.

Can you really do glasses in 1 hour?
Often, yes, for simple single vision prescriptions using lenses we hold in stock. It depends on your prescription and frame choice, so the fastest way to know is to bring your prescription in or text us a photo and we will tell you straight away.
Which glasses can be made the same day?
Single vision glasses (distance or reading) using lenses we hold in stock, glazed into a frame from our range, subject to lens availability. Bring your prescription, or have an eye test with us first.
What about varifocals?
Varifocals are made to order and usually ready within 48 hours.
Can you glaze my own frame?
Usually, yes, if it is in good condition. Bring it in and we will tell you straight away.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for glazing. For an eye test, please book so we can give you proper time.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the frame and lens. We have frames for every budget and 0% finance over six months.
Can I get glasses made while I wait?
Yes, for single vision glasses using lenses we hold in stock. Bring your prescription or have an eye test with us, choose a frame, and our Park Road workshop glazes the lenses while you wait, often within the hour, subject to lens availability.
Do you do same day glasses near Toxteth and Aigburth?
Yes. We are at 252 Park Road in Dingle, Liverpool L8, five minutes from Toxteth and Aigburth, with free parking opposite the practice. No appointment is needed for glazing.
Can you put new lenses in my own glasses the same day?
Often, yes, for single vision stock lenses, if the frame is in good condition. Bring them in and we will tell you straight away. Varifocals and other made-to-order lenses usually take about 48 hours; see our reglazing page.
